In the ever-enduring fight to ward off the threat's of MS' proprietary strategeries, I've decided to post this quick fix for small business'.You might have noticed a document opening up in your Microsoft Word 2003 program, appearing like this -
In order to resolve this issue, you will need to follow three (3) steps (you must have a MS Word product installed first, ie:Word '03, etc.):
- Download Word Viewer 2007 & Compatibility pack,
- Make sure that the Word file sent to you is given the .docx extension (this is IMPORTANT!),
- Right click -> open with -> Word Viewer
